Two of them were dedicated to foreign countries. The collection "Peru - Dreams and Desires" and "Ladakh - Dreams and Desires" show the photos from the Peruvian Andes and from the Small Tibet together with artworks that the handicapped children made after being motivated by these parts of the world. These countries surely have something in common with the Czech Republic. Peru is connected through the tragedy under the Huascaran mountain and Small Tibet is hiding its bit in the Moravian Brethren´s community.
Third exhibition of "Jizerská Phantasy" concerned the Czech Republic. Topic was chosen with regard to the position of the European Art Center. Since 2002 has been developed also the fourth exhibition collection, "Noah´s Ark" dedicated to ecology, jeopardized sorts of animals and plants etc. Exhibitions were presented in the Prague Castle, Parliament of the CR, at the Ministry of Health of the CR, in the Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava, in the Municipal Theatre in Zlín, in Smržovka, in Jablonec n.N., in Liberec, Mladá Boleslav, in the Czech center of the international organization UNICEF in Prague, in Berlin, Dresden, Herrnhut, Zittau, Hoyerswerda and Löbau.

Art competition for children from all over the CR took place in October 2001. It was focused on ecology, jeopardized and dying out species of animals and plants. 40 chosen pictures were exposed in Berlin in 2002 in the "Third International Exhibition of the Children´s Art - Noah´s Ark" organized by the Museum of Children´s Art in Berlin.
The competition was announced in spring 2003. Topic included all that children could imagine from the title - favorite places in the open air, at home, something from the history of our country, significant, historical or interesting sites in the CR.
Radio, television broadcasting, articles in magazines and newspapers follow up to individual exhibitions, art stays, publishing calendars etc. Also German television was making a film in Smržovka and it broadcast a separate program about our center on the occasion of the visit of the President of the CR Václav Havel in Germany in 1999.
In the period of 2000 to 2002 we issued over 20 postcards and New Year´s cards concerned children´s creation.
We have been working over the book since 1997. It will come out in 2004. It reflects progress in the institutional care from 1903 as well as viewpoints and attitudes of handicapped children, their parents and current and former employees of the institute. The book is also important for Czech-German relationships, as the institute was founded in Liberec and administered until 1945 by the Germans.
